Proctool is a system and process performance monitoring tool for Solaris 2.X.
Note that unlike most of the other packages here,
proctool does not include the source. The file is in gzipped tar
format and not pkgadd format. When you download it, your browser
may gunzip the file, in which case you will have just a .tar file.
To make sure you know what kind of file you have and what the correct
size is (see the sizes below).
Note also that before you decide to use proctool, you might want to
consider the use of /usr/dt/bin/sdtprocess that
comes with some levels of the Solaris OS.
The current distribution contains executables, documentation and configuration for the following platforms:
SPARC on Solaris 2.4, 2.5, 2.5.1, 2.6, and 7 (both 32 and 64 bit)
X86 on Solaris 2.5, 2.5.1, 2.6, and 7
