OpenSolaris Project

The OpenSolaris 2009.06 (see also OpenSolaris.org) release is an effort to build a binary distribution of an operating system based on the Opensolaris source code. Several current projects on Opensolaris.org that modernize the look and feel of OpenSolaris and update a new package management system are included.

Solaris users are encouraged to try it out and contribute.

The iso file

osol-0906-x86.iso
