chfn and chsh chfn allows the user to change her real name, as printed by finger(1). If no user argument is given, the real name is changed for the person currently logged in. chsh allows the user to change her login shell. The login shell is changed for the person currently running chsh. Note that NIS/NIS+ is not used by this program. Binaries need to be owned by root and chmod 4711. unpack in /usr/local or equivalent.
